In 1973, Dr. Greene graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a degree in electrical engineering. Soon after, he completed his master’s degree in nuclear engineering. After working as an engineer for 17 years, Dr. Greene felt a calling to change paths and enter the field of medicine. In May 2000, he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine with his medical degree. Dr. Greene has been practicing at Family Doctors Center since 2003.
Dr. Greene provides annual exams, chronic disease management, substance management, weight-loss services, medical marijuana and more. Patients trust him as their primary care doctor and come to him first with all of their health-related questions.
When he isn’t at Family Doctors Center,
Dr. Greene enjoys spending his free time with wife Patti, his two sons, Patrick and Joshua, and his seven beloved grandchildren.

She went on to earn a masters degree as an Adult Family Nurse Practitioner in 2009 from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She later went on to achieve a post masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Southeastern University in 2016.
Liz has many years experience as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner having worked in multi areas in hospitals, the Lafayette Parish School Board, and private practices over 20 years. Liz has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner at Greene Family Medicine in Krotz Springs, Louisiana since April 2014.
Liz has two children and eight grandchildren she enjoys spending time with. Liz looks forward to helping those in Krotz Springs and the surrounding areas with any health needs.
